
Mt wills:
A classic Australian alpine "out and back". Warming up with a gentle loop around the prologue circuit and then 25km slowly climbing toward the base of mt wills with the picturesque Little snowy creek on your left. The mt wills climb is never steep, but it is long. the rewards are the views to Mt Kosciuszko and the pristine spring water from christmas creek at the 'turn'. The last 15km coming back into mitta are like a classics course, fast with some decisive cols to split a rampaging pack. here reputation is earned through the demonstration of cycling ambition. Don't let ability or poor form hold you back, ambition is worth far more. Make the move. Always attack. Turn yourself inside-out. If you fail, then try and try again.
The Snake Bite:
A scenic ride to Australia's own 'Lake Como', Dartmouth Dam. A recovery ride with bite. The "bottom jaw" takes you to the boat ramp and features a 3km section at 9% on the way out and a 17% pitch on the way back. The "top jaw" takes you to the dam wall via a short 'n sharp 1km climb at 10%. Features a classic finish for the 'puncheur'.
