The Forks of Fury

Born from a philosophy of "why should the pro cyclists have all the fun?", 'The Forks of Fury' is a "sub-elite", multi-stage, multi-day 'festival' incorporating the classic racing formats of prologue, Gravel, big mountains, intermediate sprints, and punchy finishes.

'The Forks' is more than just a bike ride. It fuses the best of the festivals you know and love, but with a bicycle.

With a different theme each year, 'The Forks' channels the best aspects of your favourite cycling region and brings the taste, sound, aroma and excitement to you. It is Mitta's best-kept secret.

'The Forks' themselves are earned, not won. earned through the embodiment of a simple formula, ambition > ability. This formula is at the heart of cycling, as it is in the constant failure of our physical/strategic abilities in matching our imagination/ambition that we find the will to improve. We recognise and see this quality in others too because it is a universal language that humbles and inspires. It is at the root of the drama, the stories and the friendships we experience in cycling.

Awarding the 'The Forks' isn't about who won. It is about recognising the efforts of those that most inspired others through bold displays of reckless ambition and outrageous imagination.
